Due to the serious pandemic condition, we lose many opportunities to fully experience and enjoy our university life. Even though taking courses at home is also quite comfortable, the missing interactions with friends in class, lunchtime, dinnertime, basketball team training, and basketball games are all forced to be canceled. Since my hometown is Taipei, I went back to the wild-spread area for Mother’s Day. To not have the possibility of taking the virus back to my friends in Chaiyi, I stay in Taipei for two weeks. However, the pandemic keeps getting worse, and the online courses are told to execute until the end of the semester. In the beginning, I thought the basketball game in Kaoshoung that our team will attend would be canceled, but it’s not. As a result, I came back to attend the training and prepare a week before the game day. What’s worse, after I arrived at Chaiyi for about 30 minutes, we are told that due to the serious epidemic situation, we might not participate in the basketball game. OMG. Why can I just postpone the date of coming back to Chaiyi one day later, or even 3 hours is all right??? However, the game was announced postponed since there is a staff member who turns out to be a confirmed case.
